毎年一月、京都の冬の風物詩として親しまれている「十日えびす」。
宮脇賣扇庵でも、先日 京都えびす神社 へお参りに行き、昨年一年お世話になった古い笹を納め、新しい福笹を授かってまいりました。
十日えびすは、商売繁盛・家内安全を願う大切な行事。
境内には福を求める多くの人が訪れ、威勢のよい掛け声とともに、活気に満ちた空気が流れていました。
新しく授かった笹は、店内に大切に飾っております。
一年のはじまりに福を迎え入れ、また新たな気持ちでお客様をお迎えできるよう、ささやかながら支度を整えました。

Tōka Ebisu — Welcoming Good Fortune for the New Year
Every January, Kyoto welcomes the winter tradition known as Tōka Ebisu, a festival held to pray for prosperity in business and daily life.
Recently, we visited Kyoto Ebisu Shrine, returning last year’s bamboo branch and receiving a new fukuzasa to welcome good fortune for the year ahead.
The shrine was filled with a lively atmosphere, as visitors gathered to offer prayers and celebrate the beginning of a new year with hope and gratitude.
The newly received bamboo branch is now displayed inside Miyawaki Baisenan.
As we mark the start of the year, we prepare ourselves anew—welcoming good fortune and continuing our tradition of warmly greeting each visitor who steps into our shop.
When you visit us, we hope you will take a moment to notice the bamboo branch displayed in the store.
